MY SOUL is Shoketta’s debut album, recorded in New York and released nationwide in Japan in July 2014.

Produced by acclaimed New York bassist Richie Goods, the album features internationally recognized musicians including Clarence Penn and Andy Ezrin. Across ten tracks, it captures Shoketta’s distinctive voice and musical identity, rooted in jazz, soul, R&B, and gospel.

In 2026, MY SOUL remains the foundation of her international creative journey. Building on the musical experiences she gained in New York, Shoketta continues to develop new expressions connecting her Okinawan roots with the wider world.

『MY SOUL』は、Shokettaがニューヨークで録音し、2014年7月に全国リリースしたデビューアルバム。

プロデューサーに、ニューヨークの音楽シーンで活躍するベーシストRichie Goodsを迎え、Clarence Penn、Andy Ezrinをはじめとする国際的なミュージシャンとともに制作。Jazz、Soul、R&B、Gospelをルーツに持つShokettaの歌声と音楽性を、全10曲に収めています。

2026年を迎えた現在も、本作はShokettaの国際的な創作活動の原点。ニューヨークで培った音楽経験を礎に、沖縄に根ざした文化と世界をつなぐ、新たな表現へと歩みを進めています。
